Brigitte de Biolley, also known as Brigitte de Sadeleer, became famous in the horse world, as she was a very successful international dressage rider from the early seventies until 1992. She was a standard element in the classic international tour. The key to her success was that she was responsable for the purchase of her own horses and that she started the training of her horses from scratch. Thanks to her incredible experience, she is very observant and is able to tell if a horse is capable or not to reach international standards.
Stéphanie takes care of the operational management of the horse stud. She is in charge of the food supply, health control, blacksmith, maintaining the yards, vaccinations, organising the artificial inseminations etc...
In order to breed the best of the best, the daughter is continuously searching for new stallions who match the bloodlines of the mares, being allmost critical on its former results and its breeds. She knows exactly the mare's season and she knows when to call the vet. Being very punctual and observant are key elements.
Virginie, Brigitte 's second daughter, follows very intensively the whole breeding activity.
Via the "History link", you will see how it started more than 30 years ago. Later, Brigitte de Biolley, together with her enthousiastic daughter Stéphanie de Sadeleer started to breed warmbloods. Their goal is to breed horses from the best German bloodlines and to give the foals the best physical and psychological start.
Stéphanie has been surrounded with horses since childhood. She went to all the international shows with her mum and got fully involved in the equestrian sport.
The most exiting moment is the birth period. Short after it, the long and challenging training starts.
A step by step education, together with the appropriate psychological behaviour towards the foal leads to professional results. Stéphanie might not be a horse whisperer, but an amazing confidence and reciprocity between her and the horses makes the job so wonderful.
